What a praise report!

Well, yesterday I called to see the status of our I800a (basically a form from the Dept. of Homeland Security that says we are approved to adopt Xiao Juan). I have been following other people's paper chases and almost everyone had their I800a approved within days after their fingerprinting appt. Ours was this past Friday.
So I get ahold of our case worker and she says our file was just put on her desk, and we're probably still looking at two weeks. TWO WEEKS!!!!!! I was floored. Needless to say I was very disappointed. (This is one of the last pieces of paperwork we are waiting for to get our dossier ready to go off to China.) I managed to keep my composure, (I'm sure she knew I was disappointed though) asked her a few questions and then we hung up.
A couple hours go by and I get a phone call from the same officer... Paul forgot to check off the box if he has been previously married. Has he? No, he's only been married to me. Okay, thank you.
I get off the phone and think, "Is she going over our file right now??" Dare I hope?
Another hour goes by and she calls again... "Your I800a is approved! How's that for service?!"
"WOW! Are you serious?! Thank you SOOOO MUCH!!!"
God is so good!! I told her if I could have hugged her through the phone I would have!
What a wonderful thing for her to do. Thank you Lord!!!
